Depending on your prescription, you can choose from various thinner or “high index” lenses. They can be up to 40% thinner, flatter and 30% lighter than standard plastic lenses. At Optical FX we can advise which lenses will best match your glasses.

Prescription Sunglasses
At Optical FX we carry a large range of fashion and prescription sunglasses. We can advise which sunglasses are suitable for your prescription. Some sunglasses are not made to have a thicker optical lens fitted into them and may buckle and pop the lens out at a later time. Sunglasses that wrap around the face may create a “goldfish bowl effect” and cause you headaches unless a special distortion-reducing lens is used.
